The Green Party has issued a Ten Point Pledge for the May 5th Local Elections centred on supporting local communities and protecting the environment.

Greens to stand record number of candidates in Braintree District Council elections

Nominations are now complete for the May 5th Braintree District Council elections. The Green Party is standing a record 22 candidates in the elections, giving most voters in the southern and central parts of the district, including all wards in Braintree and Witham, a Green choice on the ballot paper. By contrast the Lib Dems are standing just 8 candidates.
